Re-engineering critically acclaimed Solaris was no small feat. Maintaining its signature sound, but changing its exterior shape was a substantial challenge.

The result of that undertaking is an exciting new earphone that captures that ‘Solaris-Sound’ in a size more people can enjoy.

Holographic presentation. Intimate detail retrieval. Soaring highs, engaging mids and impactful bass. Music sounds like music with lifelike performances, superior layering and unbelievable imaging. The same critically acclaimed sonic character of Solaris and Solaris SE is shared in the Solaris 2020.

Beyond the size reduction of Solaris 2020, it is also the first Solaris to incorporate Campfire Audio's Solid-Body acoustic design. This gives Campfire Audio more control of the interplay of the drivers, which results in a cleaner and more refined sound.

Each pair of Solaris 2020 is hand assembled in Portland, Oregon workshop. Campfire Audio's team of skilled builders pours their time and attention into each earphone they construct. The attention to detail paid throughout the process ensures your Solaris will be a world-class earphone unlike any other.

Campfire Audio's exciting new premium cork protective zipper case is an environmentally friendly update. Sustainably harvested Cork surrounds a substantial and protective rubber barrier that ensures that your earphones will remain safe while in transit. The interior is a thick faux wool lining that preserves the anodized finish of your earphones. Each case is made in Portugal by a small team of skilled craftspeople that share Campfire Audio's commitment to quality.

The Cork used for the cases is the outer bark of the Cork Oak Tree (Cork Suberus L), and its extraction is harmless to the tree. The harvest occurs every nine years during the expectable lifetime of the tree (around 150 years). Harvesting the Cork of the tree is fundamental for the sustainability of the cork oak forests. A naturally durable material that feels good to hold in your hand.

The new Super Smoky Litz cable is made from four large conductors of Silver-plated Copper Litz wire. Each conductor is individually comprised of a selected set of particular diameter strands. The Super Smoky Litz cable is the perfect balance of physical gauge and performance.

The cable is terminated with custom beryllium/copper MMCX connectors and over-molded 3.5mm plug. This cable brings out the best in Solaris.
